Welcome to the KICKSTART tribute page. This Classic Rock band from Western Oregon has been put to rest. In addition to the classics, Kickstart's repertoire included some newer music as well as some of the harder edged Rock that you know and love.

Kickstart is DONE!

     Our vocalist Kari moved away! Due to family commitments, Kari moved to Southern Oregon. She decided that it was no longer possible to continue with Kickstart.

     The rest of the band decided it would be very hard to replace Kari, and with other members wanting to do different things, Kickstart officially disbanded.

What are they now?

Kari Hagen - Kari is back in town now and is instructing aerobics after having her third child. She has begun playing music again with a local group and hopes to be out with them soon.

Chris Miller - Yours truly decided to take a break from music and aggressivly pursue drag racing. I purchased a front-engine, slingshot dragster and refurbished it from top to bottom. "One Hot Chili Pepper" won its first major event in the 2002 season. We are running nitromethane for fuel now and having a blast. The car can be seen at: www.onehotchilipepper.com.

Tom Huffman - Tom has been working on various musical projects including Elixxer. Elixxer is a 5-piece (including keys) doing 70's & 80's material, the core of which has been together for over 12 years. They crank out great harmonies, and are playing out about once a month. Louis Fanourakis & Jeff Hiebert - These guys have been working on yet another classic rock project. Last I heard, they haven't played out yet, and I don't know if they've picked a name. I'll update this if I can ever get a hold of Louis!
