Pro Nostalgia Class Format

Two 8-car classes will be run. The quickest 8 cars will run in Pro Nostalgia A, the next 8 quickest qualifiers will run in Pro Nostalgia B. In order to qualify, car must run 7.99 or quicker, unless qualifying is shortened due to weather or other problems. There will be no B class if less than 12 cars run quicker than 7.99.

Payout:
A: Win - $600, RU - $300, Semi - $200, 1st round - $100
B: Win - $400, RU - $200, Semi - $100
Total payout: $2500, a 25% increase from 2003
Purse will be pro-rated if less than 8 cars in a class.
Points: Pro Nostalgia drivers will earn points toward a season championship. Points are earned as follows (if minimum 5 cars in a class):

Event Win - 80
Runner-up - 60
2nd Round Loss - 40
1st Round Loss - 30
DNQ - 10
Drivers in A and B earn the same round points. In other words, a win in A and a win in B are both worth 80 points.
Qualifying positions earn points as follows:

1st - 8
2nd - 7
3rd - 6
4th - 5
5th & 6th - 4
7th & 8th - 3
9th through 12th - 2
13th through 16th - 1

Examples: If a driver qualifies number one and wins the race, (s)he would earn 88 points. A driver qualifying 16th and losing in round one would earn 31 points.
Each driver in the top 10 in the final season points will receive a complimentary invitation to the Woodburn Dragstrip awards dinner where they will be honored.
Entry Fees: Drivers will pay track's car & driver fee. Crew fees will apply as well.

Parking: For the events at Woodburn, parking will be based on season points, with top points earners getting priority. At the first event of the season, parking will be based on 2003 points.

Membership: Yearly membership in the Pro Nostalgia Association is $100. Racers who are not members will earn 50% of the purse and no points.

Dial-ins: Report to Mike Boertje's trailer with your dial-in no later than 1/2 hour before the round. If Mike does not have your dial-in at that time, you will automatically be dialed at your qualifying E.T.
